I have always felt fortunate to have had this man as a father-in-law. He welcomed me into the family and treated me like one of his own children. He was an amazing grandfather to our two boys and the children of his other children. He lived a full, rich life for 93 years.
On Thursday we will celebrate his life in a Memorial Service. Extended family members from around the country are making the trip to Western New York to remember this man that made them laugh and gave them many fond memories.
George, one of those people whose actions spoke louder than their words and those actions reflected the love he had for his family and the world around him.
